With so many headlines addressing hectic weekends and busy nights at bars and restaurants around Chicago, not to mention the cravings of our inner snacker, it’s good to know what’s being touted as being the best deal around town! (Or at least a popular option!) Take a look at this aforementioned spreadsheet that pits some of the city’s most popular eateries against their top-rated dishes – head on over the Reddit thread for more information.

Why should you use a spreadsheet for your Chicago Restaurant Week?

Chicago Restaurant Week is on for three days where meals normally $5+ each go for $12. This is a great event to sample some new restaurants and find a new favorite. To make sure you don’t miss out, use this public spreadsheet of all the participating restaurants and their specials from the start of the Chicago Restaurant week. A potential downfall is security. The data and the tools used to view it are outsources from an external party. With this comes added value for a bank, like increasing visibility into costs for customers and individual transactions and costs for industries, but others look at it as a huge disadvantage. This is especially true if the biggest customer of a bank has their account information available to the world via some form of public spreadsheet on their computer.
