This blog post breaks down how to use Google Meet and gives you a cheat-sheet on getting started today. true

What is Google Meet?

Google Meet is a video conferencing tool that works over WiFi. It doesn’t require any hardware like a webcam, so it’s a great way for people with laptops, tablets, or mobile phones to collaborate with their coworkers. Google meet is super easy to use and can be accessed right from your Gmail or Calendar app. What makes Google meeting the best video conference? As of April 2016, I conducted two Google Meet linked projects in work (the first ever recorded Google Meeting) and both went really well. All in all, they went quite well and I managed to improve on time too! There are almost no requirements to use it and no additional hardware is needed at all.

Getting Started with Google Meet

With so many meetings on offer, it’s worth it to keep your calendar free of time-wasting meetings. This is where Google Meet comes in handy. Google offers you three suggested times to set up a meeting: exact time or time and date, approximate day and time that work best for all involved, or setting the most-common weekday times, the least-common weekday times or all weekdays. You can also search for other users who already have a scheduled meeting listed so that you can attend their meeting instead, or even set up a new meeting. If any of your start times are no longer available, then Google will suggest different meeting options for you based on what is available. If you’re meeting with someone while they’re in another country, then Google says you can schedule a hangout on Hangouts On Air. This is used to stream video which is viewable by all parties of the video call.

Those are the basics; if you want to go over other menus and options, check the support site or Google Home app for more details. Also, keep in mind that not all features may be available in certain countries and regions due to possible legal restrictions

Meetings with Gmail Guests

The application offers an easy start for your meetings. In order to share documents, you can attach them from Google Drive or open videos from YouTube. Photos may also be attached and meeting attendees will even have the option to show a photo of themselves on the screen. There is no need for guests to download any specific tools or a browser extension if they do not share information like this regularly. Now with Meetings With Gmail, people can take advantage of all the great features offered by Google Apps right away. Users will be able to open documents from Google Drive directly within meetings. Photo attachments can also be shown and participants may view a picture from their email inbox, in between meeting viewing sessions. All the participants on Meetings With Gmail can see attendance information as well as various other relevant items like a seating chart, agenda, and notes for the meeting being viewed. These all go very quickly so people can get back to getting work done. According to The Next Web , some new features are being added through Convers

Make your meetings more successful

Google meetings can be very successful when learning how to start them. There are many rules and restrictions that will help make the meeting more successful, start them off on the right foot, and avoid any extreme mishaps. For instance, it is advised to avoid the collared shirt and put your phone on speaker mode. Additionally, projects with a price tag of less than $10 should not be shared in Google Meetings. Google employees have the option of sharing documents for smaller projects in Google Docs. This shows that meetings should be reserved for classified projects. Once you start these meetings, you will find new ways to save time and increase productivity. Try using this resource from Google to help improve your product management and make your discussions more productive.

About the company and their team

A company called Google meets at the Blink conference every year to talk about productivity and communication online. They hold how-tos on their website that teach people how to start their own meetings. The starters near a topic, then introduce one person in the meeting, who talks about what they’re using and why it’s helpful for them. And then it ends with all six of them getting together at the same time to talk about what they came up with. You do have to sign up for Blink. But, like I said, you’re leading meetings all season long. There’s also this other eight-hour training that comes out every year between September and March in which you can dip into each one of the others’ talks and really jump right in.

Conclusions about setting up meetups

There is never a wrong time to start meeting. People may be busy, have a bad environment to do so, or may not trust that they can make friends in person. However, meetups are easy because they are getting easier by the day and will make people more interested in meeting. People can take their time and shy away because the meetup is over or if it’s too boring. Just be sure to initiate a meeting with the right people by doing the following: doing several of these steps and hang out in a shared environment, like a Reddit thread! There are hundreds of subreddits for Tech/Startups/Cryptography and you can find more every day. If anything, speak up from your area in the meta and get others to join as well!
