You keep your notes in Google Keep so that you can access them, share them with friends and family, or sync them across devices. However, because these notes are stored as strings of text (strung together), they can be easily deleted. The next time you open a note, either through the app or at keep.google.com/close, if you see a blue header reading “Your note was deleted by someone” that corresponds to one of your notes then it’s been accidently deleted!
What are Google Keep Notes?
Google Keep notes are a great way to keep track of your thoughts and ideas. However, sometimes you may accidentally delete them. Here are some ways to tell if your Google Keep notes have been deleted:
The first way to tell if your Google Keep notes have been deleted is by looking at the trash can icon in the Notebook panel. If this icon is present, it means that some of your notes have been deleted.
Another way to tell if your Google Keep notes have been deleted is by looking for the Deleted Notes folder in the Notebook panel. This folder contains all of the notes that have been deleted.
If you can’t find either of these, it’s possible that your Google Keep notes may have been permanently deleted. To check if this is the case, go to the Trash folder in Google Drive. If you see any files with the extension “.trash”, these are likely your lost Keep notes.
How to find your notes on Keep and restore your note
If you’re looking for a specific note in Google Keep and can’t find it, there are a few things you can do. Check to see if the note is in another view, like Recent notes or Trash. You can also search for the note by its title orcontent.
If you still can’t find your note, it may have been accidentally deleted. To restore your note, go to the Trash view and look for the note you want to restore. When you find the note, tap Restore on the bottom of the screen.
Restore your notes with a desktop computer or laptop
If you have accidentally deleted your Google Keep notes, there is a way to restore them. You can do this by using a desktop computer or laptop. First, go to the Google Keep website. Next, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the page and select “Notes.” This will take you to the notes page. From here, you can click on the “Trash” icon in the top right corner of the page. This will show you all of the notes that have been deleted. Finally, click on the “Restore” button next to each note that you want to restore.

If you’re like most people, you probably use Google Keep to store important notes and images. But what happens if those notes and images get accidentally deleted?
Fortunately, there’s a way to retrieve deleted files from external drives using Google Drive File Stream. Here’s how:
