Several Google services experienced some downtime today, leaving users without access to Talk, Hangouts, and portions of Drive.
According to the search giant’s Apps Status Dashboard, reports of issues with Google Talk (Gchat), Google+ Hangouts, and Sheets are slowly being resolved.
As of 2:15 p.m. Eastern, Google reported that its Talk and Hangouts services have been restored for some users, “and we expect a resolution for all users in the near future,” the company said.
As of 2:45 p.m., Google Sheet had returned for all users.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support,” Google said. “Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better.”
The outage appears to have begun around 12:15 p.m. Eastern, when folks took to Twitter to express their frustration.
